Each Lynx Pro & Lynx Pro Plus product includes:

  • Lynx Enterprise PC Application Software
     (one user master license installed on your main server)
  • Lynx Web Application Software
    (one server master license that allows all users an internet login)
  • Lynx Web Acquire Application Software
    (the free compression tool for Authorized Web Users that will be uploading photos)


Lynx PC Master License

Lynx Enterprise PC Application-Master License includes on Concurrent PC User license & contains the latest version of the software.

This master license or "Lynx PC license" is considered main warehouse (single secure database) for all of your digital photos & is primarily used as an administrative tool where you manage your users, groups, user/group rights & archive photos.

A master PC license is the first consideration in a typical Lynx configuration were you control all of the users/groups & all of the project photos company wide.

PC user licenses for the master application are concurrent meaning you may install the master license on as many workstations as you'd like, but only a specified amount of users may log in at one time. Concurrent PC Users can use the Lynx PC application at the sames time to upload, annotate, red-line & edit photo information.

If you are using the Lynx Hosting Service we provide you will install the Lynx PC Application on a client machine as an "administrator's tool" to connect to your web database, typically used to manage users, rights & groups.

We provide a Lynx Quick Install Guide which contains instructions for installing a Lynx Enterprise PC standalone, server or workstation install.


Lynx Web Application

The Lynx Web Application connects to the same SQL database that the Lynx Enterprise PC version connects to giving you complete access to all your project images using a web browser. Web licenses are a crucial piece of the Web Application.

An unlimited number of Standard Web Users can log in to search, view, print & save images & create hyperlinks.

Viewing photo hyperlinks with attached information from the Lynx Web Application on the internet is always free for everyone!

Authorized Web Users are allowed additional access to upload, annotate & edit photo information. Authorized Web User licenses are not concurrent & rights are determined by username & password.

An Authorized Web User will be able to utilize the free Lynx Web Acquire compression tool (same as PC Quick Acquire tool, but stand alone module for the web) which allows field personnel to upload their project photos to the main office 100% faster than it is currently taking them. They can annotate edit images with captions, notes, permanent description, user-defined search fields - all online using a web browser.


Lynx Web Acquire Application

The Lynx Web Acquire Application is a free compression tool & is included with all Authorized Web User licenses.

This tool will allow field personnel the ability to upload their project photos to the main office 100% faster, saving hours of time. It will also file the photos to the single database at the main office where they are secured with all of the needed information.

Lynx Hosting is a service package we offer should you need hosting & hardware required for our software you purchase.

We include the SQL server & database along with everything else you'll need to take advantage of the Lynx Photo Manager application. If you ever decide to switch from Lynx hosting your media, to an in-house solution where you are hosting yourself, it is very easy to export your data from our server & import to yours.

The Lynx Remote PC license is a stand alone program that allows you to have all the Lynx PC functionality at job sites that have no internet or poor internet connectivity. Lynx Remote PC license can synchronize all of the images & data to the main office corporate database.

The Remote PC version allows you to take advantage of all the tools such as compressing, annotating, quick acquire, etc just like your master Lynx PC version. You can then easily "synch" small photo data packets to your main office web/PC database. We include one Concurrent PC User license which can be re-used when project is over.



An Authorized Web User can annotate & edit images with captions, notes, permanent description, user-defined search fields in addition to all the above features a Standard Web User has access to.

Authorized Web Users have the option to use the free Lynx Web Acquire tool included with all Authorized Web User licenses. This tool will allow the people out in the field to upload their project photos to the main office 100% faster than it is currently taking them & also files the photos to the single database at the main office where they are secured with all of the information needed, saving hours of time uploading photos.
